The Eagle Nebula in Infrared.
An infrared image showing a majestic view of the Eagle Nebula (Messier 16/M16 or NGC 6611). This picture was taken by NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope.
The Eagle nebula is an industrious star-making factory located about 7,000 light-years away in the direction of the Serpens constellation.
