Shaking. I’m glad I have someone to go home to after my appointment this morning because every time something like this happens, I honestly do panic a little.

And for the people who says these anti-choice terrorist are just fringe nutjobs…you couldn’t be more wrong. Every time something like this happens, it encourages the anti’s at our clinics to improve their game. When that clinic in Florida was gutted on New Year’s Eve (funny how that incident was so easily forgotten by the media), the anti’s at one of our clinics were beaming with joy. I was greeted that morning with calls of, “Burn THIS clinic down!” “That guy saved lives! Burn down FPA!” Charming.

So don’t fucking tell me these are isolated incidents; they are part of a larger anti-choice culture that emphasizes FEAR and INTIMIDATION, not unconditional love or respect for life. I strongly believe that the male anti’s especially do it just to get their fix for scaring women. They specifically pick on the stressed ones, the white ones (a lot of our anti’s are hesitant to approach our black patients, I think because of racist tropes about black women fighting back at them or some shit, which is so stupid because they’re on the sidewalk and in the parking lot HARASSING PEOPLE, of course no one’s going to react positively! It’s a weird dynamic, though, because some of them also single out the black women and other WoC and call us all racists for committing genocide against the black race. They can’t make up their minds about whether black babies are worth saving, apparently), the young women. I have a liiiiittle bit more sympathy for our female anti’s, because I do think most of them really do believe in their hearts that they are saving babies, but the men? No. They want an outlet for harassing women and anti-choice activism gives it to them. They are scum.
