The threat of more U.S. troops could cause chaos. It may cause his supporters to band together and take action. Also, since the LRA is not presently in Uganda, the video overshadows other, more important issues. Focusing on Kony’s presence in Uganda, which is no longer a threat, takes away from actual problems that do need attention, like medical care and education.
